Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years in lighting/electrical PM, strong knowledge of lighting systems, and proficiency with ERP and Bluebeam for plan reviews and takeoffs.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of project management experience in lighting or electrical industries.
• Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls systems.
• Familiarity with distributor channels and manufacturer rep networks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple lighting and controls projects concurrently in a high-volume environment.
• Review specifications, drawings, and lighting schedules for accuracy.
• Perform lighting takeoffs and review photometric layouts.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, rep agencies, distributors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Develop timelines, submittals, pricing, and order execution.
• Track shipments and manage project risks.
• Provide technical guidance on lighting products and controls integration.
• Ensure compliance with energy codes and customer expectations.

This role is responsible for managing multiple lighting and controls projects simultaneously from quotation through project closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, technical accuracy, and exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of lighting systems, controls, and manufacturer rep networks, and thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple lighting and controls projects concurrently in a high-volume environment
• Review project specifications, drawings, and lighting schedules for accuracy and feasibility
• Perform lighting takeoffs and review photometric layouts as required
• Coordinate with manufacturers, rep agencies, distributors, contractors, and internal teams
• Develop and manage project timelines, submittals, pricing, and order execution
• Track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and proactively manage project risks
• Provide technical guidance on lighting products, controls integration, and applications
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, energy codes, and customer expectations
• Support sales and estimating teams with product knowledge and project insight
• Maintain clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

• 3–7+ years of project management experience in the lighting or electrical industry

• Understanding of lighting controls integration and energy code requirements
