Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate commercial lighting projects from order entry through final delivery and closeout.
• Serve as primary contact between electrical distributors, contractors, lighting manufacturers, and internal teams.
• Track project schedules, lead times, shipping dates, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for order confirmations, updates, and shipping information.
• Monitor progress and proactively communicate delays or issues to customers and team members.
• Review purchase orders, product specs, and project docs for accuracy.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies and shipping concerns.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular status updates to customers and sales reps.
• Collaborate with sales and quotations teams to ensure project success.

Position: Full-Time | In-Office

Position Overview

FRM is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Hallandale Beach, Florida. As a leading commercial lighting manufacturer's representative agency, FRM works closely with electrical distributors, electrical contractors, lighting manufacturers, engineers, architects, and other industry professionals to support commercial lighting projects.

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing commercial lighting projects from order entry through final delivery. This position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines, product requirements, and customer expectations are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the electrical distribution, lighting, construction, or manufacturer's representative industry and understand the importance of proactive communication and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate commercial lighting projects from order placement through final delivery and project closeout.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between electrical distributors, contractors, lighting manufacturers, and internal sales teams.
• Track project schedules, manufacturing lead times, shipping dates, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with lighting manufacturers to obtain order confirmations, production updates, and shipping information.
• Monitor project progress and proactively communicate delays, changes, or potential issues to customers and internal team members.
• Review purchase orders, product specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies, product availability issues, shipping concerns, and project-related challenges.

Qualifications

• Previous project management or project coordination experience, preferably within electrical distribution, commercial lighting, construction, or a manufacturer's representative agency.
• Knowledge of commercial lighting products, electrical materials, and construction project processes is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, manufacturers, and internal sales teams.
• Experience working with electrical distributors, contractors, or lighting manufacturers is a plus.

Work Location

This is a full-time, in-office position based at FRM's Hallandale Beach, Florida office, serving the greater Miami and Fort Lauderdale market.

Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.
