Job summary

Weltmann Lighting, a commercial lighting distributor with offices in Hicksville, NY, seeks a Project Manager who can lead the lighting component of construction projects from concept to completion. You will review drawings, coordinate schedules, and manage budgets, working with estimators, foremen, and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years PM experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and construction documents.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience with construction drawings and specifications preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate schedules with client and team; review bid package and drawings.
• Assemble and organize the job folder per procedures.
• Prepare submittal packages for client approval.
• Review submittals and prepare submittal logs or RFIs.
• Prepare purchase orders for all material required with documentation.
• Discuss and meet with the client to coordinate all schedule requirements.
• Track material shipments for timely arrival.
• Coordinate the efforts of all project stakeholders.
