Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill in Syracuse, NY is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Light Maintenance/Housekeeping team member. The role covers cleaning resident apartments and common areas, plus maintenance tasks, on a full-time schedule.

Hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm with alternating weekends; pay is $17.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience. Benefits include health plans, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and flexible scheduling.

Competenze

• One year experience in a similar environment preferred.

We are currently seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual for Light Maintenance/Housekeeping to join our team of professionals!

Schedule:

Full Time (7:00am - 3:00pm) with alternating weekends

Salary:

$17.00 - 18.00 per hour - based on experience

Light Maintenance/Housekeeping Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas

Light Maintenance/Housekeeping Education & Experience:

• One year experience in a similar environment such as a senior living community, nursing home or any healthcare field preferred
• Able to operate cleaning equipment including iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, and vacuums and have an understanding on cleaning chemicals and products required
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required
