Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Aide to support memory-impaired residents with daily activities. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and compassionate care in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting memory impaired residents with bathing, grooming and dressing while promoting dignity and independence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Immediately report changes in residents' condition to the supervisor and address issues such as illness, behavior changes, or medication concerns.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities.

Salary:$16.00 - $19.50 per hour with shift differential- based on experience

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicatedResident Care Aide.

Resident Care Aide Responsibilities include:

• Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights

• Maintain and document proper records of care

• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor:evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.

• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities

Resident Care Aide Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred or as required by law

• One year working in a care-giving capacity preferred

• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
