Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Syracuse, NY is seeking a thoughtful Dietary Aide/Waitstaff to provide hospital-style dining in a warm, community setting. Part-time or per diem schedules offer flexible hours and opportunities to learn and grow alongside a dedicated dining team.

You will help set tables, serve beverages, and review menus with residents, collaborating with the Dining Director to ensure a restaurant-style dining experience and outstanding resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in food service.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Work closely with the Dining Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Set tables in accordance with PSL standards.
• Serve residents and guests with beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.

Schedule:

Part Time or Per Diem

Salary:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour, based on experience

Waitstaff/ Server Responsibilities include:

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere

Waitstaff/ Server Education & Experience:
