Job summary

Build Talent LLC partners with a highly established General Contractor in Houston to hire an experienced Lead Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up light industrial and tilt-wall projects such as warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities.

You will oversee day-to-day field activities, manage subcontractors and schedules, coordinate trades, ensure safety and quality, and work with PMs, owners, and architects to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent with a General Contractor.
• Ground-up light industrial and/or tilt-wall construction experience.
• Experience with warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, or similar projects.
• Proven ability to independently lead large commercial construction projects.

• Coordinate sitework, foundations, tilt-wall panels, structural steel, MEP trades, and finishes.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality.

I’m working exclusively with a highly established General Contractor that is looking to add an experienced Lead Superintendent to its Houston team.

About the Role

This individual will take the lead in the field on ground-up light industrial and tilt-wall projects, including warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and similar large-scale commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day field operations from groundbreaking through project turnover
• Manage subcontractors, field personnel, scheduling, safety, and quality control
• Coordinate sitework, foundations, tilt-wall panels, structural steel, MEP trades, and finishes

• Houston/Texas construction market experience strongly preferred
