Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with a well-established Houston general contractor to recruit a Tilt Wall Superintendent. This hands-on role focuses on leading field teams on ground-up tilt wall projects and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of commercial construction experience, strong tilt wall expertise, and the ability to read and interpret drawings.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Ground-up tilt wall project experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for ground-up commercial and tilt wall projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Oversee site safety, quality control, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate concrete, steel, MEP, and other major scopes of work.
• Lead tilt wall panel layout, forming, reinforcing, pouring, and erection.
• Review plans and documents to identify issues; conduct site meetings and inspections.
• Communicate with Project Managers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients.

Job description

We are partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor in Houston that is looking to add an experienced Tilt Wall Superintendent to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on Superintendent with 5–7+ years of commercial construction experience, including strong tilt wall experience, who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for ground‑up commercial and tilt wall projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
• Oversee site logistics, safety, quality control, and overall project execution
• Coordinate concrete, steel, MEP, and other major scopes of work
• Lead and participate in tilt wall panel layout, forming, reinforcing, pouring, and erection
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents to identify potential issues
• Conduct and document regular site meetings and inspections
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients
• Monitor workmanship and ensure projects are completed according to plans and specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Assist with project closeout and punch‑list completion

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of commercial construction experience
• Proven experience managing ground‑up tilt wall projects
• Strong understanding of tilt wall construction methods and sequencing
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong scheduling, organizational, and communication skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Ability to work independently while effectively leading a field team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
