Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is hiring an Automotive Light Duty Technician for an on-site role at the Audi St. Paul dealership in Minnesota. This full-time position emphasizes quality repairs, safety, and documentation following Lithia standards.

You will diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles, maintain tools, and pursue ASE certifications while providing excellent customer service and teamwork in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Suspension and alignment experience.
• 1+ years of Automotive repair experience.
• ASE and manufacturer certification.
• Team player focused on customer service.
• Knowledge of German vehicles.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanic's tools.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.

Our Light Duty Technicians report to the Service Manager and is an onsite position at St. Paul Minnesota.

What You'll Do

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which include Flat Rate: $17.00- $30/ + production bonus Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
