Job summary

Audi St. Paul is hiring an Automotive Journeymen Technician to perform repairs and service in line with factory standards. You will diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles, and document outcomes while maintaining your tool inventory and pursuing ASE certifications.

We expect a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service. This is a flat-rate position with potential production bonuses and comprehensive dealership benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive repair experience is required.
• ASE and manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Suspension and alignment experience is a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Team player with focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and service per store and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunction causes and road-test vehicles.
• Document work on repair orders and testing results.
• Maintain required tools and inventory.
• Pursue ASE and manufacturer certifications through training.

Responsibilities

• The Journeyman Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanic’s tools.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• ASE and manufacturer certification, a plus
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Knowledge of German vehicles, a plus
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which include Flat Rate: $17.00- $30/ + production bonus
