Job summary

Dartmouth Skiway in Lyme Center, NH is hiring a Lift Operator for a 4-month term to operate lifts safely and provide excellent guest service.

You will perform daily safety inspections, support snow/ice mitigation, and assist with mountain operations maintenance while adhering to site policies and fostering a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of large machinery.
• Strong communication skills and patience.
• Physically able to perform duties and lift 50 pounds.
• Must work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates lifts safely and efficiently for guests.
• Provides excellent guest service at lift and beginner areas.
• Conducts daily maintenance and safety checks.
• Assists with snow/ice mitigation on premises.
• Supports snowmaking and mountain operations maintenance.
• Follows Dartmouth Skiway policies and procedures.

Position Purpose

Lift Operators at the Dartmouth Skiway play an integral role in the safety and service of our guests. Lift Operations Team Members are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of lifts and carpets while providing excellent guest service. Lift Operations Team Members contribute to the success of the Mountain Operations by performing a wide variety of tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Basic knowledge/understanding of large machinery.
• Good communications skills and patience.
• Physically capable to perform tasks and duties of position.
• Ability to work outside for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the outdoors.
• Passion for Snowsports.
• High School graduate or equivalent.

Key Accountabilities
