Sun Valley Resort is seeking a Lift Operations Lead to support the lift operations team in the safe and efficient daily operation of ski lifts. You will mentor operators, perform inspections, and ensure top-tier guest service on the mountain.

The role requires working early mornings during the winter season, outdoor work in all weather, and a commitment to the entire winter season. Prior lift ops experience is preferred, along with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in lift operations or mountain operations preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsabilités

• Assist in training and mentoring lift operators.
• Support daily lift operations, snow removal, setup, and closing.
• Conduct routine on-hill inspections of lift operations.
• Promote safety and guest service on the mountain.
• Coordinate with maintenance for daily inspections.
• Open lifts as an early morning shift during winter.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commit to working the entire winter season.
