Leadership In Flight Training Academy is seeking a finance intern in Indianapolis to assist with forecasting loan balances, AR collections, and state revenue remaining. You will support budgeting and collaborate with FP&A and other teams to improve financial clarity for student finances.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and forecast loan balances, AR collections, and state revenue remaining.
  • Support FP&A budgeting processes with data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams across LIFT operations to align financial plans.
  • Create materials to explain student finances clearly.
  • Develop processes to enable business growth and scalability.
  • Present project results to team members and stakeholders.
  • Implement efficient business processes to drive performance.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible and willing to help other team members as projects arise
Other Qualifications
  • Ability to work onsite at our Indianapolis Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
