Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for a Winter Seasonal Lift Experience Team Lead. This role leads daily lift operations, schedules staff, and ensures safety and guest satisfaction on the mountain.

You will help hire, train, and guide operators, while collaborating with mountain safety and patrol teams to resolve issues. Starting pay ranges from $22.00 to $29.22 per hour, with full-time hours and weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of lift or mountain operations experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of resort lifts, including staff scheduling and opening/closing procedures.
• Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating lift operators to maintain safety and service quality.
• Monitor operator performance and provide feedback and recognition as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures for guest safety.
• Collaborate with ski patrol, mountain safety, lift maintenance, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Promote organized, clean workstations and excellent guest service.
• Support ticket scanning and additional Lift Experience duties as assigned.
