Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring a Lift Experience team member to operate and supervise lifts in a mountainous setting. The role carries seasonal winter work with full-time and part-time shifts, and no prior experience is required as training is provided.

Starting pay is $20 per hour, with housing available and opportunities to grow through Epic Service training. Applicants must be 18+, ready for outdoor shifts, and capable of handling high guest volumes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; we train all lift operators.
• Must be able to make quick decisions and multitask with safety as a priority.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand/move for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor passenger safety during loading/unloading of lifts and provide instruction to guests.
• Operate lift to maximize chair capacity per Lift Experience guidelines.
• Notify maintenance of repairs or maintenance needs.
• Learn operation of lift equipment with Lift Maintenance.
• Follow emergency procedures and coordinate with Patrol as required.
• Set up and disassemble lift maze daily according to standards.
• Adhere to all company policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support ticket scanning when trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
