Job summary

Vail Resorts in Concord, NH is hiring for Lift Experience Lead roles to oversee two key areas: Lift Operations and Ticket Scanning.

The position requires leadership of staff, safety compliance, and strong guest-service skills in an outdoor alpine environment. Winter seasonal employment begins immediately with potential extension into summer; starting wage ranges from $22.00 to $29.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of lift or mountain operations and/or scanning experience preferred.
• Must be physically capable of assisting guests and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must communicate fluently in English.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions and alpine environment experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for the full shift and work a flexible schedule including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of resort lifts, scheduling staff and procedures for opening/closing.
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching operators and scanners.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and direction with safety emphasis.
• Enforce laws, policies, and procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Coordinate with ski patrol, mountain safety, and lift maintenance on mountain issues.
• Plan orientations, trainings, and payroll; handle guest questions and resolutions.
• Supervise ticket scanning operations and auditoria; partner with related departments.
