Job summary

Westmont Living in Cypress seeks compassionate Lifestyle Assistant/ Activities Assistant/ Driver to support seniors in independent and memory care settings. Responsibilities include leading activities, documenting programs, and safely transporting residents to appointments and events.

The role emphasizes engaging residents in enjoyable activities and maintaining a homelike, caring environment with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from various locations such as: medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.

Schedule: Sunday / Monday 8:30am to 4:00pm
