Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer; we are seeking compassionate Lifestyle Assistant/ Activities Assistant/ Driver to join Westmont of La Mesa, an assisted living and memory care community.

You will assist with activities, encourage resident participation, transport residents to appointments and events, and help document programs. Must have Class B Driver License with passenger endorsement and pass health screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and committed to residents' wellbeing.
• Ability to assist with activities and encourage participation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from appointments, shopping, activities and events.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass health screenings (Physical, TB, Drug test)
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
• Must have Class B Driver License w/ passenger endorsement

What we need from you:

• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.

• Must have current basic first/Cpr aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
• Must have Class B Driver License w/ passenger endorsement
