Job summary

Westmont Living Carmel Valley seeks compassionate individuals to join our team as Lifestyle Assistant/ Activities Assistant/ Driver. You will support residents with daily activities, assist in planning programs, and ensure safe transportation to appointments and events.

A Class B driving permit is required and training will be provided. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth in a caring senior living community, with a focus on enhancing residents' quality of life

Qualifications

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents' fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs.
• Assist with the Community's arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from various locations such as: medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
