Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) in Pennsylvania seeks a Program Specialist – Lifesharing to support individuals with IDD and Autism through person-centered planning and ISP oversight. The role emphasizes independent living, team collaboration, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will monitor service quality, conduct assessments, provide training, and partner with families, SCOs, AEs, and the ODP. Travel across PA and on-call rotation are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 1+ year supporting IDD or autism required.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years supporting IDD or autism required.
• Associate degree with 4+ years supporting IDD or autism required.
• HS diploma with 6+ years supporting IDD or autism required.
• Strong knowledge of PA Chapters 6100 and 6500 regulations.
• Understanding of person-centered practices and Everyday Lives philosophy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel.
• Ability to maintain required clearances and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment promoting independence and person-centered planning for IDD and Autism.
• Support individuals in achieving ISPs and quarterly goals.
• Monitor service quality to ensure health and safety of individuals served.
• Conduct assessments and complete required documentation within timelines.
• Ensure services are documented in PA regulations; maintain accurate records.
• Provide coaching and ongoing support to Lifesharing Providers and DSPs.
• Facilitate training and educational opportunities for providers and staff.
• Collaborate with families, SCOs, AEs, ODP, and community partners.
• Serve as Incident Management contact and monitor incidents in EIM system.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
