Job summary

SPCA of Texas is seeking a Supervisor, Lifesaving Programs in Dallas, TX. You will directly supervise the Lifesaving Programs team, oversee adoption, retail, and customer service operations, and drive training, coaching, and performance outcomes across shelter locations.

You will partner with leadership to maintain workflows, SOPs, and training materials, while supporting the care and placement of animals and the adopter experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in animal welfare, adoption programs, retail, or related operations.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage scheduling and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to the Lifesaving Programs team.
• Oversee daily adoption, retail, and customer service operations.
• Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and accountability.
• Lead onboarding and training to ensure consistent customer service and practices.
• Support scheduling, staffing coverage, and daily operations.
• Monitor customer interactions and address escalated concerns.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and recordkeeping.
