Job summary

Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah seeks a Lifesaving & Care Supervisor to oversee daily lifesaving programs including adoption, foster care, transfer/transport, and animal care at our program locations. This role reports to managers and drives urgency to achieve the no-kill mission.

Supervisors may receive intensive assignments based on organizational needs. The position requires leadership of teams and volunteers, strong customer service, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifesaving care and outcome programs with volunteers and staff.
• Oversee daily operations including adoption, foster care, and transport.
• Provide training and feedback to team members and support onboarding.
• Develop efficient processes and ensure timely communications and data entry.
• Uphold Best Friends' mission and program requirements.
