Job summary

San Juan College is seeking a Manager of Lifelong Learning Operations and Programming in Farmington, NM. You will shape engaging community education through Community Learning Center classes, Encore, and Kids Kollege, blending program development, marketing, and team leadership to reflect community interests.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Foundation, HR, and academic/division stakeholders, ensuring smooth program operations and a strong online presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Three to five years of related experience to lead diverse Lifelong Learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Creates programming for non-credit lifelong learning classes, Encore, and Kids Kollege using surveys to identify community needs and interests.
• Develops departmental marketing plans and creates marketing/outreach materials for CLC, Encore, Kids Kollege, and Center for Workforce Development classes (face-to-face and online).
• Coordinates the development of Lifelong Learning portions of course schedules and oversees events with the San Juan College Foundation.
• Supervises employees, participates in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management in line with College policies.
• Recruits instructors, schedules classes, and coordinates with HR to hire adjunct faculty.
