Job summary

San Juan College is seeking a Manager of Lifelong Learning Operations and Programming in Farmington, NM. The role focuses on shaping engaging Community Learning Center classes, Encore, and Kids Kollege, blending program development, marketing, and team leadership to reach diverse learners.

You will coordinate scheduling, lead marketing efforts, and supervise staff and instructors while collaborating with HR and the foundation for events and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or higher education and/or workforce development, program management or related experience.
• Usually three to five years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates programming for non-credit lifelong learning classes, Encore, and Kids Kollege using surveys to identify community needs.
• Develops departmental marketing plans and marketing/outreach materials for CLC, Encore, Kids Kollege, and Center for Workforce Development.
• Coordinates the development of Lifelong Learning portions of course schedules.
• Oversees events such as Encore Birthday and scholarship events with the San Juan College Foundation.
• Supervises assigned employees and participates in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Represents the college to students and community partners, promoting diversity and inclusivity.
