HealthFitness is hiring Lifeguards for our corporate aquatics center in Neenah, Wisconsin. This part-time role includes 15 hours per week with no weekends, and offers a sign-on bonus plus certification reimbursement after 90 days.

You will monitor aquatic areas, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all members and guests, including guests of varying ages.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED certification required; reimbursement after 90 days of employment.
• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
• Pre-employment drug test may be required.

Help us provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits the facility.Perks include a $100 sign-on bonus, plus reimbursement for the cost of your lifeguard certification after successfully completing 90 days of employment!Schedule: Monday 9am-12pmTuesday 5:30am-7:30am / 1pm-3pmWednesday: 9am-12pmThursday 1pm-3pmFriday 9am-12pmResponsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.Key AccountabilitiesMonitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.Enforce and explain rules as necessary.Respond appropriately to any emergency.Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.Attend all required staff meetings and training.Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.Maintain a professional attitude.Other duties as needed/assigned.Minimum RequirementsMust be at least 16 years old.American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification, will be reimbursed after 90 days of successful employment.Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $12.00-$16.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
