Job summary

North Canton YMCA is seeking qualified lifeguards to oversee aquatic safety and assist during weekday evenings and weekend shifts. The role requires current lifeguard certification (YMCA or Red Cross), CPR and First Aid, and a willingness to be trained if not certified.

Expect a part-time schedule with a focus on safety and teamwork. Responsibilities include supervising swimmers, attending trainings, maintaining a positive attitude, and staying rescue-ready throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.
