Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County in Uniontown, Ohio is seeking qualified lifeguards for Lake Community YMCA to ensure the safety of all swimmers.

The role requires lifeguard certification (YMCA or Red Cross) and CPR/First Aid, reliable timing, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Part-time shifts include mornings, evenings and weekends with starting wage at $12.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, and membership perks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 15 years old.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings.
• Positive attitude & team player.
• Rescue ready at all times during shift.

Qualifications:

• Mornings: 5:30 - 9:00am
• Evenings: 5:00 - 8:45pm
• Weekends
