Job summary

The YMCA of Central Stark County (Ohio) – North Canton YMCA is seeking qualified lifeguards to ensure the safety of swimmers in the aquatic area. Must be at least 15 years old, have current lifeguarding certification (YMCA or Red Cross), CPR/BLS and First Aid, or be willing to be trained.

Available hours include weekday evenings and weekends. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour, commensurate with experience; part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
• Maintain positive attitude and be a team player.
