Job summary

Alliance Family YMCA is seeking qualified lifeguards to oversee the safety of all swimmers in the Alliance area aquatic facility. The role requires a strong safety mindset, teamwork, and a willingness to participate in in-service trainings.

Starting wage is $12.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of age.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid
• If not certified, willingness to be trained

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings
• Positive attitude & team player
• Rescue ready at all times during shift

• Various early morning shifts
• Various daytime/early afternoon shifts
