Lifeguard-In Training (Security)
The YMCA is seeking Lifeguards - In Training. This role offers paid training and Lifeguard certification, flexible scheduling, free Y membership, and more. Must be a strong swimmer capable of passing a swim skills assessment.
The salary range for this position is $13.00-$13.57 per hour. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability insurance, generous paid time off, and free membership. Part-time benefits vary.
This Lifeguard (In Training) will shadow certified lifeguards while working to obtain the required certification within 90 days of hire. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service in a safe, enjoyable environment that promotes member safety and satisfaction, in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
This position reports to the Aquatics Director/Aquatics Supervisor, who reports to Senior Aquatics Management. The incumbent interacts regularly with supervisors, staff, volunteers, and participants.
