YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is hiring a Lifeguard at Ed Isakson / Alpharetta YMCA. You will maintain pool safety, monitor the area, perform tests and respond to emergencies in line with YMCA procedures.

Minimum age 16 with current Lifeguard certification or equivalent; required CPR/AED, First Aid, and oxygen administration; strong customer service and communication skills are essential, plus pass pre-employment checks.

Formación

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current YMCA Lifeguard certification or equivalent (crossing over in 60 days).
• Basic life support/CPR-AED, first aid, and emergency oxygen administration.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and hospitality commitment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains active surveillance of the pool area.
• Reviews and follows emergency procedures; reports as required.
• Applies safety rules and guidelines for pool/ aquatic areas.
• Maintains records as required by health dept. code.
• Performs equipment checks and chemical testing when not guarding.
