Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR from ARC or YMCA or equivalent.
• Minimum six months lifeguarding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation of the pool area.
• Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines for all participants.
• Perform lifeguard duties and respond to emergencies per YMCA policies.
• Complete incident and accident reports as required.
• Maintain pool records, chemical readings, and equipment inventory.
• Promote aquatics programs and assist swim instruction when needed.
