Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Certification in Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Lifeguard through ARC/ YMCA is required.
• Six months or more of lifesaving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation of the pool area.
• Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines for participants.
• May perform Swim Instructor duties as needed.
• Respond to emergencies per YMCA policies (First Aid/CPR).
• Maintain accurate pool and safety records.
