Job summary

VersaillesYMCA in Versailles, OH is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. You will respond to emergencies and may assist with swim instruction when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Currently hold or be able to obtain certification for Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguard (Red Cross or YMCA).
• Minimum of six months lifesaving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation of the pool area.
• Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies per YMCA procedures; may perform swim instruction.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is safe and functional.
• Promote aquatics programs and assist with event setups.
