Job summary

Versailles YMCA in Versailles, OH is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. This part-time, non-exempt position requires vigilance and quick response to emergencies.

You may assist with swim instruction when needed and will be trained by the YMCA. The role includes following YMCA policies, recording safety checks, and promoting aquatics programs to strengthen the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Certification in Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguard from ARC or YMCA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation of the pool area.
• Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines for participants.
• Assist with swim instruction when needed.
• Respond to emergencies per YMCA procedures and complete incident reports.
