Qualifications

• YMCA Lifeguard or American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required.
• Must maintain physical and mental readiness at certification level.
• Minimum age of 15 with specific guidelines for younger lifeguards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe swimming conditions and constant surveillance.
• Familiarize and respond to emergency situations effectively.
• Check pool for hazardous conditions upon arrival.
