YMCA of Columbia-Willamette in Oregon is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards age 15+ to serve as first responders around pools, perform rescues, and enforce safety rules.

You’ll train regularly with Inservice Drills, learn YMCA policies, and have opportunities for growth. Part-time hours up to 30 per week with benefits like pool access and fitness perks.

Certification training is available if you don’t already have lifeguard, CPR/AED, or First Aid credentials.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 15 years old.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or obtain within 30 days.
• Current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification or obtain within 30 days.
• Pass a written/physical assessment prior to duty.
• Have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and act swiftly in emergencies.
• Able to observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations, and apply policies.
• Certification/training is available if needed.
