Job summary

Qualifications
- Must hold current YMCA or ARC Lifeguard certification with CPR/AED and First Aid.
- Ability to swim 300 yards continuously and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and customer-service mindset, with teamwork focus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of swimmers to ensure a safe aquatic environment.
- Enforce pool rules while creating a welcoming experience for members and guests.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and provide appropriate lifeguarding care.
- Monitor and record pool chemical levels to maintain water quality.
- Open and close the aquatic facility and complete daily tasks.
