Job summary

Lake Community YMCA in Ohio is hiring qualified lifeguards for part-time shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends. Must be 15+, hold a current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, and current BLS (CPR) and First Aid; willingness to train if needed.

Responsibilities include overseeing safety in the aquatic area, attending in-service trainings, staying rescue-ready during shifts, and maintaining a positive team attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid.
• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
• Attends mandatory in-service trainings.
• Positive attitude & team player.
• Rescue ready at all times during shift.
