Job summary

Southwest General Lifeguard role is part-time, supporting supervision of Therapy and Lap Pools, including chemical testing and safety enforcement. The position emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe pool area and responding to incidents in a timely manner.

Qualifications include completed Lifeguard training, First Aid & Safety certification, CPR and BLS, with experience preferred but not required. Free parking is offered as a benefit.

Lifeguard

Position Summary

Lifeguards are responsible for the supervision of the Therapy Pool and the Lap Pool and chemical testing of Therapy Pool, Lap Pool, Hot Tubs and Flume. Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all pool patrons, reporting incidents and general cleaning of the pool area.

Hours

Part-time, varied hours as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Completed Lifeguard training required.
• Experience: Experience preferred but not required.
• Licensure, certification, and/or registry: Lifeguard, First Aid & Safety certification required. CPR, BLS required.
