Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee indoor and outdoor pools, ensure deck safety, and monitor water slides. The role emphasizes safety-minded, customer-service oriented behavior in a fast-paced club environment.

You will greet Members, assist with aquatics events, perform rescues and first aid when needed, and maintain a clean, orderly pool area to protect Members' safety. Certification in StarGuardElite Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid is required, with bridge options

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim and retrieve a 10 lb diving brick.
• Ability to bend to lift more than 20 lbs.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" & "Poolapalooza".

• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge toStarGuardwhen current certification expires or within 1styear, whichever is first)
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience
