Job summary

Emerson seeks a Director of Lifecycle Services & Training to lead strategic growth across the Americas. You will transform the after-market business from a transactional model to a recurring service-led partnership that enhances customer value and total cost of ownership.

You will drive revenue growth, optimize service delivery, and implement training programs and certification initiatives across North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
• 7+ years in lifecycle service management with leadership in industrial settings.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing after-market services.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60%.
• US work authorization – visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Americas Lifecycle roadmap, focusing on installed base penetration, maintenance contracts, and digital service adoption.
• Drive P&L performance for the services division, with growth and margin expansion.
• Identify market trends to pivot service offerings toward predictive maintenance and high-value consulting.
• Standardize service delivery protocols to ensure consistent customer experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Management to integrate Serviceability into product lifecycle.
• Manage regional spare parts strategy and logistics for rapid response times.
• Partner with regional sales VPs to embed service contracts into CAPEX proposals.
• Lead the Service Sales team in converting unattached IBs into active service agreements.
• Support channel partners in developing their service capabilities to extend the brand.
• Oversee regional training centers and digital learning platforms for technicians and partners.
• Design curriculum focused on technical proficiency, safety compliance, and diagnostics.
• Establish Certification Centers of Excellence to standardize service quality.
