Job summary

Van Meter Inc. is seeking a Business Consultant - Lifecycle Services in Cottage Grove, MN. The role acts as a trusted advisor to industrial customers, identifying challenges and opportunities while shaping strategies that drive measurable outcomes.

You will work with Account Managers, Customer Success Specialists, and partners to develop lifecycle service opportunities, build business cases, and plan customer adoption, owning opportunities from discovery to handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, operations, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with industrial end-user customers preferred.
• Experience supporting service agreements, recurring revenue programs, or other value-added industrial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle services opportunity development and create business cases.
• Develop customer plans and adoption roadmaps with Account Managers and Customer Success.
• Represent lifecycle services in proposals, value propositions, and commercial opportunities.
• Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, and next steps through the sales process.
• Collaborate across internal teams and supplier partners to support opportunities.
