Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a CRM Operations Manager to lead customer lifecycle and promotional campaigns across email and CRM channels, driving engagement, retention, and revenue growth using SFMC and Adobe Journey Optimizer.

You will partner with Marketing, CRM Strategy, Email Design, Copywriting, QA, GTM, Analytics, and Technology teams to build, test, and deploy campaigns, translate creative assets, and ensure accurate audience targeting and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• 5+ years in CRM operations, email marketing, or marketing automation.
• Hands-on experience with SFMC, AJO, or similar platforms.
• Experience building email campaigns using templates and modular content systems.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and audience segmentation.
• Collaborating with creative, QA, marketing, and technology teams.
• SFMC and AJO certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy CRM campaigns using approved templates, modules, and content components in SFMC and AJO.
• Configure and execute email campaigns, journeys, triggered communications, and audience-targeted initiatives.
• Translate creative assets into production-ready customer communications.
• Collaborate with Email Design Leads to implement email designs across templates and platforms.
• Work with Copywriting teams to ensure messaging accuracy.
• Coordinate with QA to validate functionality, rendering, personalization, and targeting.
• Support campaign schedules and launch readiness with GTM teams.
• Configure audience segments, dynamic content, and tracking parameters.
• Validate audience selections with Data Management teams.
• Conduct end-to-end testing across devices and email clients.
• Execute deployments according to governance standards.
• Monitor campaign execution and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain campaign documentation and production schedules.
