The role of Field Media Services Technician II will lead field crews when servicing air and water treatment systems in an array of industrial and construction related settings. Sites settings and locations will vary and provide valuable experience on how and why these systems operate. Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of water treatment equipment at customer locations. Help the environment by servicing the systems responsible for cleaning up contaminated water and air and filtering the public’s drinking water supply.
Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time. Ability to use your senses to see, smell, hear and touch. Use of hands to control, handle and operate equipment. Accurate hand/eye coordination. Finger dexterity, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull up to 55 lbs. Working in tight spaces, confined spaces, and elevated surfaces. Wearing full and ½ face respirators and Tyvek coveralls while working in hot & cold conditions.
Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions such as wet and/or humid environments, extreme cold and/or heat, dusty and noisy work environments. Field work on outdoor and indoor sites involving long-term standing, sitting and repetitive motions, confined spaces, and working from heights. Use of power tools. Use of heavy equipment including forklifts and aerial lifts. Working in areas with known hazardous chemicals and potentially hazardous conditions.
