Zusammenfassung

AmeriLife is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support medical and loan underwriting teams for life insurance policies. You will gather requirements, review for completeness, and submit to carriers and lenders.

You will monitor exams and APS requests, update Salesforce Chatter, and ensure timely completion of tasks. The role involves routine policy servicing, annual policy reviews, and maintaining organized underwriting files.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of three years of life insurance underwriting support experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Ability to gather requirements and communicate with internal and external customers.

Aufgaben

• Support case managers in completing carrier applications and follow-up.
• Monitor underwriting progress and escalate issues when needed.
• Work with carriers to issue policies and track exam/APS requests.
• Draft cover letters for Case Manager review and review policy data.
• Maintain underwriting files and prepare correspondence for applications, policies, and endorsements.
• Provide administrative and project support to the underwriting team.
