Job summary

The Fedcap Group is seeking an instructor to deliver Power of Possible (POP) and Life Skills workshops, actively engaging participants and preparing them for work, training, and long-term career success.

Using a structured, outcome-driven approach, you will deliver curriculum aligned with progressive learning stages, move participants from foundational understanding to practical application, and maintain high standards of delivery and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in education, human services, workforce development, or related field.
• Two years’ experience in adult education, workshop facilitation, or workforce development coaching.
• Experience with individuals facing barriers to employment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Power of Possible (POP) and Life Skills workshops as scheduled, ensuring quality and curriculum alignment.
• Conduct benefits screenings and assist with applications for LIHEAP, Head Start, Free Tax Filing, EITC and CTC.
• Facilitate ESOL ENGEN classroom sessions, provide guidance, and track progress.
• Lead engaging sessions, set expectations, and maintain high participation from start to finish.
• Maintain structured classroom environment and prepare materials and technology in advance.
• Collaborate with Career Advisors and Placement Specialists to align training with next steps.
• Enter attendance and progress in FedcapCARES within one business day and ensure accurate hours.
