Job summary

Families Forward, a member of The Fedcap Group, is seeking a mission-driven Education and Training Instructor to deliver POP and Life Skills workshops at our Farmington opportunity center. This role builds skills and accountability to help participants progress into work experiences and employment.

The instructor leads dynamic, outcome-focused sessions, supports ESOL ENGEN language learning, and collaborates with Career Advisors to align training with individual employment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, workforce development, or related field preferred.
• Two years’ experience in adult education, workshop facilitation, or workforce development coaching.
• Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment is strongly preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Power of Possible (POP) and Life Skills workshops as scheduled.
• Facilitate ESOL ENGEN sessions and track progress.
• Lead engaging, high-energy sessions and set clear expectations for participation.
• Maintain a structured classroom environment with attendance and activity completion.
• Collaborate with Career Advisors and Placement Specialists to align training with participant plans.
• Provide feedback and address disengagement to support progression.
