Job summary

Families Forward, a part of The Fedcap Group, seeks an Education and Training Instructor to deliver Power of Possible and Life Skills workshops that prepare participants for work and career advancement. The role requires engaging sessions, clear expectations, and active involvement from all participants.

The instructor will guide participants through structured learning stages, support progression into work experiences, and coordinate with Career Advisors to align training with next steps.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in adult education, workshop facilitation, or workforce development coaching.
• Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment is strongly preferred.
• Minimum starting salary $46,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver POP and Life Skills workshops as scheduled, ensuring curriculum standards are met.
• Facilitate ESOL ENGEN classroom sessions and track learner progress.
• Lead engaging, high-energy sessions and maintain strong participation from start to finish.
• Set clear expectations for behavior, participation, and accountability at the start of each session.
