Job summary

The Fedcap Group in Ellsworth, ME seeks an instructor to deliver Power of Possible and Life Skills workshops that prepare participants for work, training, and career success. You will lead engaging, outcome-driven sessions and support progression into work experiences and employment.

Deliver curriculum with clear expectations, foster participation, and track progress to ensure accountability. A relevant degree and two years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, workforce development, or related field preferred.
• Two years’ experience in adult education, workshop facilitation, or workforce development coaching.
• Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment is strongly preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver POP and Life Skills workshops as scheduled with professionalism and curriculum adherence.
• Facilitate ESOL ENGEN sessions, support language learning and progress tracking.
• Lead high-energy sessions that engage all participants from start to finish.
• Assess engagement, performance, and readiness for work and progression.
• Track attendance and progress; enter data in FedcapCARES within 1 business day.
